![]() Also, in choosing your vendors, I was given a great piece of advice that I'd love to pass along. Lean on others! My fiancé was so incredibly helpful and we were a team throughout the planning process. The entire thing flies by and is so fleeting - try and just be as present and in the moment as you can. At the very end of the night, both Dan and I went up on our friends shoulders for one major final dance - that was also pretty incredible and memorable! I knew in that moment how tremendously and overwhelmingly special that moment was. There was one moment when we thanked everyone for coming that I looked around and saw nearly 250 smiling happy faces, full of warmth and joy, all there to celebrate Dan and I. I absolutely loved every minute of it - from the ceremony to the grand entrance, the dancing to the cake cutting. My favorite moment is so hard to pin down. The hardest part is finding the person and everything beyond that is icing on the cake. It's cheesy to say but it really isn't about the wedding, it's about the marriage. My advice would be to not sweat the small stuff and try and enjoy/soak up the experience as much as you can. But, in the end, it was those little things that helped make the day (and entire weekend) as amazing as it was. Part of me wishes I hadn't focused so much on the teeny tiny details or gotten caught up in the minutia that day-of doesn't really matter (like hotel welcome bags for instance!). Since gold was such a major constant throughout all the decor, they even had a few succulents spray-painted gold so they'd stand out! Prepare yourself for tons of other cute little gray, peach and gold wedding ideas, all of which can be found in the full gallery here, photographed by Jenny Smith & Co. The couple loves succulents and wanted tons of bright, beautiful flowers everywhere. The themes of the day were gold and blush with tons of floral touches and gold foil featured everywhere! Heather and Dan wanted a summer chic feel with a romantic touch.
